HAPPINESS AND WELL-BEING

Happiness is the desire of man. It is somewhat ethereal in form. It seems like a heavenly state that no man has ever perfected. It is the ultimate goal of human existence. It is a dream, and a dream so elusive to make it come true. Would it be right to ask what is happiness from a philosophical perspective, or it would be more appropriate from a scientific empirical point of view to ask, what make most of us happy?
